Our Location

Being in the center of the cornbelt has many obvious advantages. First, of all the cattle feeding states, Iowa has the lowest corn prices available. This major ingredient of cattle rations is widely recognized as producing the best performance, and carcass and meat quality most packers and consumers prefer. Second, because of the abundance of corn in the state, silage is widely available and is an economical feedstuff possessing fine feeding qualities not available in other cattle feeding states. As for brome hay and alfalfa, the supply here is quite plentiful and of high quality also.

Other benefits of our location are close proximity to both generous supplies of fresh feeder cattle and willing packers.
